they already released more than 20 of these "making of the hoobt" vids. they are interesting but I only want to see THE FILM not the "making of" lol
Peter Jackson made a bad mistake to split the hobbit in 3 parts -.-

I have seen all the making of shows and I have to say with it spilt into three that they have yet again stayed close to the original story.....

I can't wait to see all three...

While I don't really care that they went from 2 movies to 3, I'm more excited to have an escape back to Middle-earth, regardless of the length! I suppose that 3 movies total will just give me that much more Middle-earth to enjoy, even if it is content that Tolkien didn't explicitly write.

The LotR trilogy films were pretty much my life in high school, so I'm excited to be able to feel that same amazement, wonder and awe that I felt at age 16-18 when the films were being released. Now I have the next 2.5 years to feel that anticipation and excitement again! Smile

I thought that making it three movies was an interesting move on Jackson's part. However i wonder how they will stretch it to 3 movies despite the fact that they are using supplemental material from toklkiens other books that relate to this time period in middle earth.

Yes, I agree with gelwaver. I fear it will be a little.. stretched.

Considering how much time and expense goes into making these productions, as long as the acting is good and the stories are Tolkien I think more is better.

It may indeed feel stretched, but if the experience is truly "emersive" I won't mind.
