The first one really is the best... And I'm not embarrassed a little to admit I could be propably identified as an Elvish speaker and Tolkienpedia. What's the problem with knowing Tengwar and history of Arda even without opening a book about it?

Because sometiems, these websites which are like wikipedia, tell trash. If you know the sillmarillion or other books by J.R.R. Tolkien, you know that he didn't write them by himself. They are only a collection of little notes and his son, christopher tolkien put them together. But sometimes, some notes told the same story in different ways, so it was important to choose between them. So there are every 50 pages, 20 pages of a addendum, which tells you the possibilities.

Example Gandalf:

1.
Gandalf was something like a maiar of Lorien, the valar of twilight.
2.
He was sent because manwe, the mightiest valar wanted that.
3.
He was MANWE.
4.
There were three maiar, who where sent: Saruman, dunno the valinor name, for the valar of smithing (forgot the name...), Radagast, for the wife of the valar of smithing. And Gandalf arrived, when they discussed, who should go. Manwe and Arda thought, if it's the best, that gandalf went to middleearth too. 2 more maiar, allatar and pallando or Naurandir and Sulandir went to ME too.
5.
Saruman arrived as the first wizard middleaarth, then Radagast, then the 2 blue wizards and then, the last one Olorin, Gandalf. He was the weakest. But he got the Ring of Fire from Cirdan
6.
Saruman was the first one in ME, then Gandalf came and at the end Radagast.
7.
The blue wizards went to the east and vanished.
8.
The blue wizards went to the east and fought against Saurons suppression of the eastlings.
9.
The blue wizards (Allatar Pallando) went the east and were suppressed by Sauron like Saruman later. They became cultists.

That's why you have to read the books. Because there are much more possibilities of the story and sometimes, ppl forget something to write down on the internet.
